Better Off Alone? Nah

There is a reason some people say they are happy alone. It isn't  because they think they would be happy alone. It is because they think if they loved someone and it fell apart they might not make it.

They think it's easier to be alone. Because what if you learn that you need love? And then you don't have it.
What if you like it?
And lean on it?
What if you shape your life around it?
And then it falls apart?

Can you even survive that kind of pain?

Losing love is like organ damage. It's like dying. The only difference is, death ends. This? It could go on forever . . .

What i'm saying is.... I get it. I get why you are so scared.

But taking the risk is what it's all about, right? If you aren't loving you definitely are not living.
Love in the end is worth it whether it works out or not.
It's worth it.

It's worth the butterflies and smiles that last all day long.
It's worth the first, second and third kiss.
It's worth having someone there, always. To tell your sad and more importantly happy moments too. To hold you when you are cold, to take care of you when you are sick.
It's worth having someone to grow old with

And in the end if there is an end and it doesn't work out it was worth the lesson. It was worth the tears and heart ache because loving and losing is better than never loving at all.

True story.

It is a risk to love.
What if it doesn't work out?
Ah, but what if it does.
 ;)
